Kristin
Owner + Lead Planner
Kristin was born on the island of Maui. Her long-standing career hails from the world of event production, where she mastered the art of keeping calm under pressure, and found her calling in the industry. She truly loves the process of seeing events come to life— from the 'getting to know yous' with the couple to the moment she dives into the design process, she considers every single detail, no matter how small.
With over 10 years running Opihi Love, Kristin knows the island, vendors, and venues inside & out & brings extensive expertise & excitement to each & every wedding!
Her happy place is with her husband Joy, and their three children, spending time at the beach and adventuring in nature together.
Maxyne
Maxyne hails from the great state of Minnesota. Her career in hospitality brings an extensive range of experience, from corporate events to weddings, concerts, & live sporting events.
Escaping Minnesota winters and moving to the tropical island of Maui, she quickly found her way to weddings and events at the Hyatt Regency Maui. After several years in the corporate wedding world, she fell in love with the bespoke side of weddings in working with Opihi Love.
Maxyne brings a unique eye, as she also specializes in wedding photography with one of Maui’s most elite photography teams. In her frree time, she enjoys going to the beach, shopping, & binge-watching her favorite shows.
Lead Planner + Production Manager
