Balancing Planning a Destination Wedding and Parenthood

Planning a destination wedding involves many moving parts, which can feel overwhelming. That's why we recommend hiring a wedding planner who is an expert in your dream location. Every situation is unique, and when it comes to your wedding day, our team is ready to wear many hats to create the perfect plan for your dream celebration.

When Amanda and Tyler began planning their day, they had more to consider than just friends and family traveling to celebrate. They wanted their beautiful one-year-old to be involved in the festivities but also needed someone to manage nap time seamlessly.

When asked about how likely they would recommend a destination Wedding Amanda and Tyler said:

“1000000% yes do it! I feel like we got to enjoy our friends and family more not just at our wedding but with meeting up at the beach/ other things throughout the time we were there. This was more us than having a traditional wedding…more relaxed and casual. My main concern when planning it was how we were going to make it work with our one year old at the time. We brought our pack n play and he was a part of the ceremony, but sleeping for the recepetion. It felt like we got married in a backyard and had a fancy dinner party. I cannot recommend a fancy dinner party enough. If you’re looking into Hawai’i we got married at The Olowalu Plantation House and our wedding planner was AMAZING.”

No matter what, our team ensures you feel seen and supported throughout every step of the planning process. We are in the business of love, and making family a central part of your celebration is what we cherish the most.
