Sugar Beach Weddings

Emily and Andrew’s wedding was tropical-infused while also sleek and modern. Sugar Beach held the perfect ambiance for these two lovebirds to say “I do,” surrounded by friends and family. Their ceremony overlooked the infamous white sand beaches, rolling ocean waves, and arching palm trees, perfectly surrounding the bride and groom as they made Maui a part of their love story.

Sugar Beach has held home to many Opihi Love Weddings and is a beautiful venue to consider for all of those Brides-to-be out there. There is so much that can be done within this space, and it is truly such a special venue on the Southside of Maui. While the venue is truly stunning, the view behind it is even better. Sugar Beach allows you to be able to step away from the cocktail hour while guests mingle and celebrate and lets you and your partner enjoy quiet moments on the serene beach. Emily and Andrew had their bridal portraits along the water, and up on the rocks, surrounded by the beauty of Maui, giving them beautiful images to always remember this day by.

Emily and Andrew’s tropical chic wedding was brought to life with greenery and hints of floral details, set against the light wood tables. The Groom’s favorite color is orange, so to incorporate this element we added papaya and tangerines to the centerpieces, adding a pop of color. Including fruit in centerpieces is a fun way to change it up and add a tropical modern look while staying within your budget. Our team loves getting creative, especially when it comes to place settings, and finding new ways to keep your wedding on theme and fresh.

Sugar Beach is an amazing wedding venue on the Southside of Maui. This location allows flexibility to match what you envisioned your wedding day to look like. Emily and Andrew chose to have their ceremony outside, cocktail hour inside, and then dinner outside, followed by the reception inside. The sequence of events allowed our team to flip the alternate spaces in a seamless way. However, this venue is equipped to follow whatever sequence and location for each part of your wedding.

Emily and Andrew’s wedding created an atmosphere unlike any other, and the guests danced alongside them into the night. Being in the wedding industry, our team loves to celebrate and put together a good party. The joy and emotion that fill a wedding day, are truly moving and we are so thankful that our job lets us witness this each day.
