A guide to the ladies that make up Maui’s wedding planning and design company, with an eye for style.

When it comes to planning your wedding day, I won’t lie there is a lot to do. But that is where my lovely team and I come in. We are ready for it all, whether that is a full-service experience or an intimate elopement ceremony, we can move and mold to the dream day that you envision. In order to get to know you, and help tell your love story the way that you want it told, my team and I have broken up the process into four elements.

  1. The First Date

Before we jump into the design and planning, we want to get to know you. In order to bring your wedding day to life, we want to know it all. And don’t hold back, we want to truly know what makes you uniquely you.

  2. Let’s Collaborate

This is where the groundwork begins to align with actual vendors and talent that take what we have gone over and show what they can really do. These are the chefs, photographers, stationers, and floral designers. While we give you the list of vendors we recommend, the team will be with you each step of the way to help you come to your decision.

  3. Vision Quest

After building your dream team made up of all the vendors hand-picked by you, we move on to bringing the ideas to life. Mood boards, color swatches, staging, etc., all the visuals you need to properly see what this all will look like on your actual day. This is one of my favorite parts because we get to give a little sneak peek into how we get to tell your story.

  4. The Big Day

As your wedding date approaches, we want you to feel relaxed and confident knowing all the details are in place. I promise you, all the fine details are in good hands. Each step of this process was curated to make sure that everything leading up to this moment, is executed with ease. Your wedding is just for you, enjoy the magical day and party on, we will handle the rest.

Owner, Principal Planner

Kristin was born on the island of Maui. Her long-standing career hails from the world of event production where she mastered the art of keeping calm under pressure. She truly loves the process of seeing events come to life— from the 'getting to know yous' with the couple to the moment she dives into the planning process, she considers every single detail, no matter how small. Her happy place is with her husband Joy and their three children, spending time at the beach and adventuring in nature together.

The best part of the wedding day: Seeing it all come together on your wedding day. That moment when we reveal the space to our couples and seeing that excitement on their faces makes it all worthwhile for me. It is the moment that drives me to do what I do. I thrive in the fine details!

Studio and Marketing Manager

Maxyne hails from the great state of Minnesota. Her career in hospitality brings a wide range of experience from corporate events, weddings, and concerts to live sporting events. Escaping Minnesota winters and moving to the tropical island of Maui she quickly transitioned to weddings and events at the Hyatt Regency Maui. After several years in the corporate wedding scene, she moved on to the bespoke side of weddings. Additionally, she brings a unique eye as she also shoots for one of our favorite photographers on the island, Dmitri and Sandra. When she isn’t busy behind the computer or lens she enjoys going to the beach, shopping, or binge-watching her favorite tv shows.

The best part of the wedding day: Seeing the design come to life and the look on the faces of the happy couples.

Production Manager

Born and raised in Minnesota, Brittany moved to Maui 10 years ago to pursue her dream of wedding and event management with the Hyatt Regency Hotel in Lahaina. Brittany thrives in wearing multiple hats, behind the scenes and on event days, and responds quickly to ever-changing circumstances with a positive and upbeat attitude. As a project manager, she specializes in the guest experience and nurturing the relationships we have with our vendors to produce a successful event! On Brittany's off days, she enjoys spending time with her four young children and husband!

The best part of the wedding day: The ceremony! Finally getting to see our couples become newlyweds!

Event Manager

Born and raised in Phoenix, Arizona Michelle has been living in Paradise for ten years now. She fell in love with the ocean and started a career in yachting. She is a professional Boat Captain, Free diving Instructor, Photographer, and now an Event Manager with Opihi Love. Her passion for working with and around people, creating memorable experiences, and having a true zest for life has led her to the Event Industry. Serving others and ensuring their happiness is her mission in life. She enjoys spending as much time in the water, free diving, surfing, and snorkeling with marine life.

The best part of the wedding day: When it all comes together. My favorite part is seeing the bride's reaction to seeing her day come to life. All the time planning and arranging, talking of ideas - to see it set up and come to life. I love seeing how happy she is at that moment.
