This lovely island has been the home and starting place for our company, and thanks to all of our amazing brides and grooms, we have been able to continue to do what we love, in a place that we love.

When deciding where you want your destination wedding, it is understandable why Hawai’i is at the top of that list. The island life is slow and allows you to take a step back and truly take in each moment of a day that you have been dreaming of. Arriving in Maui, with your soon-to-be bride or groom, surrounded by cherished friends and family, is a feeling unlike any other. Maui is prepared to hold these sweet memories and tell your love story, and Opihi Love is ready to take those mood boards from pins to reality.

I know right now, wedding planning on the island of Maui might look different, but our team is prepared to adapt and work with what we have. While part of our island is currently in a time of healing, we want you to know that the wedding industry here is strong and wants to work. So much of this island is filled with breathtaking beauty, therefore there are a number of venues that would love to host your special day.

Another element that makes up our amazing island of Maui, is all the small local businesses. During a time of loss and devastation, our community has rallied together and worked even harder to make sure that everyone’s needs are met. Our small community has shown how hard we can work, how much we love what we do, and how the work that we do directly benefits the island.

I encourage you, if you have visited this island and have fallen in love with this place like all of us have, or if you are planning to come here, to donate and support local. It is so important to involve and hire local Maui residents who are wedding vendors, and to shop locally. There is no one else who knows how to celebrate a wedding in Maui like we do.

Our team has had the honor of working with so many amazing vendors. The work that is put into each wedding, all the preparation for the big day, there is no small detail that goes unnoticed. We are also prepared to give any and all recommendations of vendors because trust me after years in the wedding industry, we have a list.
